Most succulents thrive in sunlight, requiring 4-6 hours of sunlight daily. However, exposure to strong direct sunlight can cause sunburn. To prevent this, place the succulents indoors near a window or provide shade with a sheer curtain outdoors.

Many succulents are not able to withstand low temperatures. It is advisable to bring them indoors when the temperature drops below 32°F.
